I talked about Kasia and Chris’s upcoming wedding a few months ago briefly when I blogged their engagement photos. They got married at Stonehouse Villa in Austin. It was such a gorgeous venue and I loved shooting there! Their friends and family were all very close and you can tell that everyone genuinely had a great time at their wedding. I even made it out to the dance floor once or twice at the wedding! Here are some of my favorites from their day!

Downtown Houston Engagement Photography | Lauren and Dustin

I had a nice time hanging out with Lauren and Dustin during their engagement shoot. We decided to use a few locations around downtown Houston for their shoot. They’re getting married at one of my favorite venues, Hotel Zaza, in a few months. Can’t wait!

I met Kristin at the Bridal Extravaganza this past January. I remember her being really sweet when I spoke with her and I was really happy to meet Chris at another consultation after the show as well. They decided to do their Engagement Photos in The Woodlands. I love doing engagement shoots. It really gives me a chance to know the couple well before the wedding, which makes for very comfortable and relaxed images on the wedding day. It was extremely easy to photograph Kristen and Chris and it couldn’t have been a better day for their shoot. They’ll be getting married later this year in September. Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot.

Outdoor Bridal Portraits in Houston Tx

You may remember Shina and Ben from their engagement portraits in Houston that I photographed last year. Well a few weeks ago I was able to do her bridal portraits! The wedding was last weekend at Camp Lucy in Austin so I can finally show these off. They’ll be a blog post on the wedding soon, enjoy these for now!

We’re Not Sorry For Party Rockin!

I don’t usually post a lot of personal stuff on this blog. This was just too good to pass up though! Every year my good friend and awesome photographer Chris throws a Valentines Day party. Every year we’ve had a theme. The first was actually Valentines Day themed, the second was Mardi Gras, last year was Casino Royal but this year we decided to step it up a notch….LMFAO! It was a ton of fun! We’ve always dressed up for all of them but I think this year a lot of people went all out. If you look closely you might recognize quite a few wedding industry vendors in attendance. I’m already counting down the days till next years party! We’re taking recommendations for themes!

La Colombe d’Or Houston Wedding Photography | Nicole and JD

I never got around to posting Nicole and JD’s wedding at La Colombe d’Or so here it is! They had their ceremony at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Nicole’s family loves theatre so they had that be the theme for their reception at La Colombe d’Or. Aurora from Occasio Productions did a wonderful job styling and coordinating the wedding. This wedding was actually published in the last issue of The Knot Texas Magazine! I’ll share the spread from that soon. For now here are my favorites!

Last week I photographed Kasia and Chris’ Engagement Portraits at Herman Park. I’ve known Kasia and Chris for a few years now and I was really excited when they asked me to be their photographer! Kasia is actually one of the coordinators at one of Houston’s most popular venues, Chateau Polonez.
